SO – WHAT’S STUMPAGE GOING FOR?
This information is only intended
to
provide people with a broad overview of what stumpage rates are going
for.
We have analyzed deliveries of all products that were shipped through
our
office during two one-month periods. In this case, they are for
the months of October
2003, January
2004 and January
2006.
Only those
products
that were shipped through our office during this time period are
reflected.
Disclaimer
– These averages have been calculated from a small percentage of
deliveries
and are not intended to be the benchmark. Stumpage values can vary
considerably
and are influenced by factors such as, but not limited to, quality,
delivered
price, total volume, harvest method and accessibility. The final value
that is applied to a product is a decision that must be arrived at
between
the landowner and the contractor.
