If treelength stems must be bucked, the butt segment must be cut
in multiples of 4' (46"), bolts over 49" orless than 43" are not
acceptable.
QUALITY:
Age - Wood must be delivered within 2 months of harvest.
Burn, char, forks, crotches - not acceptable.
Limbs/Knots - shall be removed flush with the bole of the tree.
Pasture spruce that is excessively knotty is not acceptable.
Sap Rot - stems in excess of the amounts listed below - not
acceptable.

stems will be marked with fluorescent paint on the butt. Loads
containing excessive unacceptable stems may have their delivery delayed
until the loads are
cleaned up to meet the above specifications.
Trailer Specs
Failure to follow these rules will result in refusal of load.
Headboards are required an all trucks.
Trailers must have a minimum of 10' between the first and second stakes,
as well as the back two stakes.
Bunks on frame trailers must be a minimum of 8" above the top of the frame.
Flat-bed trailers must have a minimum of 8" risers firmly attached to the trailers.
Loads with two tiers must have two dividers between the tiers. The
front
and rear
dividers must be at least 10" thick. All spacers must be either spruce
or fir.
Tops should not protrude over the headboard.
When loading trucks with treelength wood, try to keep the shorter logs
mixed
in-between the longer logs. This may require setting the shorter wood
further
back from the butts. It will enable the portal crane operator to keep
the
sorted
wood within the grapple when unloading.
Loads containing logs loaded over the trailer stakes will not be
acceptable
for unloading.
The front of the trailer should be loaded first with butts forward.
