Over 5% rot per load.
Undersize and oversize stems.
Forked stems and stems having sweeps or crooks which
exceed the oversize limit.

other than above. No Hemlock or
Red Pine.
Burnt
wood - load may be rejected.
Pulpwood must be less than
three (3) months old, cut from
live
trees, properly prepared, delimbed and free of brush.
The scaler will reject all loads of pulpwood
containing more than five percent (5%)
net volume of unacceptable pulpwood, or loads of pulpwood which have
deteriorated due
to age. The scaler will scale (weigh) all rejected loads and mark
the delivery ticket
accordingly. The delivery ticket will be forwarded directly to
the Board. However, no
scale slip will be issued for the rejected loads.
