QUALITY:                     ROT:            6 - 9" No rot allowed
                                                             10" + 30% of butt diameter rot allowed
                                                             Sound red heart is acceptable as long as growth rings
                                                             are visible.
                                        FORM:        Must be free from crook, forked tops or doglegs.  No burnt wood or plastic
                                                             as scalers may reject entire load.
                                        BURN:         Must be free from burn damage.
                                        LIMBS:        Must be trimmed flush with the stem.
                                        AGE:           Must be cut from live trees and delivered to the mill soon
                                                            after harvest (30 days).  Wood must peel cleanly with a knife,
                                                            no excessive discoloration (gray) or end checking.

                                        LIMIT:          The reject limit is set at 2.5% of gross scale in accumulated deductions.

                                       TRAILERS:  Must have solid floors with no holes.  Plywood required on front and back of trailers.

                                       OTHER:        Required are hard hats, safety glasses, safety boots; and gloves
                                                              when handling cables and straps.
